This website was originally designed and created for the Chartiers
Creek Watershed Association (ChCWA) by Crouse & Company with funding provided by a Fiscal Year 2000/2001
grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Growing Greener Program,
combined with matching funds from Crouse & Company and volunteer time worked by members of the ChCWA
and the Washington County Conservation District.
The main purpose of this website is to promote
communication, education, and outreach among watershed groups in both the upper (Washington County) and
lower (Allegheny County) portions of the watershed, community members, and watershed association volunteers
throughout the area. The Growing Greener grant period extended through March 2003. |
